Scenemaker is a node-graph branching-scenario and visual-novel authoring tool: lay out scenes on a canvas, wire up choices with variables and conditions, design the game screen, and export a SCORM 1.2 package your LMS already understands. This page runs the real editor, no install, no account, nothing saved anywhere but your own downloads folder.
The Stage: every scene as a node, wired together with choices, conditions and endings
This is not a cut-down preview; it is the real editor, the same one used to build the sample story below. A couple of things that need a local backend (saving straight to disk, native SCORM export) fall back to plain browser downloads here instead, everything else works exactly as it does in the full desktop app.
Drag out scenes, wire choices between them, and see your whole story's shape at a glance. Zoom to fit, group related scenes, and route conditionally on variables, dice rolls or multi-branch logic.
Lay out the actual game screen like a slide: drag the dialogue box, portraits and choices anywhere, stack entrance effects, and save your own reusable layout templates.
Portraits with swappable face states and stacked visual effects, plus a full variable system: numbers, flags or text that choices can require, change, or branch on.
Record narration straight from your microphone with a live countdown, trim it on a visual waveform, and drop it onto any line.
A layer is a second full stage inside the same project; link a choice to another layer with a portal to split up a big branching story without losing the overview.
One click builds a real SCORM 1.2 .zip with scoring and mastery options, ready to upload to any SCORM-compatible LMS. Also exports a single self-contained HTML file, or a printable PDF storyboard.
"The Whistleblower" is Scenemaker's built-in sample story: seven scenes, branching choices, tracked variables and three different endings. Both files below are the exact same story exported in two different formats, pick whichever fits what you want to test.
One self-contained file with everything embedded (art, audio, code). Double-click it and it plays straight in your browser, works completely offline once downloaded.
